   Quantum Computing Patents


     The KukaXoxo Quantum Computing Patent Defense Policy (QCPDP) protects clients against all existing, and future, quantum computing hardware and software patents. The quantum software patents are worthless, because they are easy to workaround by moving your use of the (time-consuming) algorithms outside the U.S. (or outside of the country/countries where the patent is in force. The quantum hardware patents are worthless, because in a few years, software will exist to execute all quantum computing algorithms on classical computers; or because whatever quantum computer becomes practical, companies with tons of money will build cloud servers outside the country/countries where the patent is in force, so no one will want to buy/license the patent

     While these patents can be mostly exploited without relying on the QCPDP policy for protection, for large companies heavily using quantum computing, the insurance allows complete exploitation with zero worries (in case there is some small liability due to some obscure provision of the global patent system).

     What follows are quantum computer hardware and software patents that have issued since January 2020 in the United States and Zhōngguó (the two most active QC patenting countries). While the QCPDP all such patents, we are gradually adding the actual patents covered to the lists below.
